Exodus 2 / Jeremiah 5            6 paragraphs 4 vs. 5

Afflictions are to remove the dross; God cares about he who is righteous and honest.

Psalm 52 / Revelation 13:5

The enemy is in power for a time; the righteous rely on God's unfailing love forever.

Key Verses     Exodus 1:10 / Jeremiah 5:14

Exodus 2 / Jeremiah 5             Trust God vs. Forsake God

1.   Trust and bless

By faith in the true God they hid the male child.  God made the enemy work for their good.  But when Moses used his own ability to serve, His efforts was like a building on sand.  He had to be refined to become useful for the Lord.

2.   Forsake God and disasters

Those who commit sins, do evil and forsake God can never be blessed but will have disasters.  God's eyes look for those that fear Him and are righteous and honest, He blesses them with overflowing grace in times of trouble.

Psalm 52 / Revelation 13:5        Trust in God vs. Do evil

The beast utters exaggeration and exercises its authority.  How can it grow strong through wickedness?  There is a time for the saints who suffer and trust in God.  The wicked will be uprooted by God when the time comes.
