Key Verses Exodus 5:3 / Jeremiah 8:7
Exodus 5 / Jeremiah 8 Strong vs. Hard-hearted
1. Be strong and obey
Let us be strong and obey God’s command to leave Egypt and walk the holy way to serve the true God. Though we are scorned and our workload is increased, do not lose heart for we would see God's glory in the end.
2. Hard-hearted and rebellious
They have turned away from God’s way for good. Their hearts are as hard as dry bones. Their prophets and priests comfort them deceitfully. Therefore, the fall has past, the summer has ended, and yet they are not saved. They hope for peace but there is only terror.
Psalm 55 / Revelation 13:8 Pray watchful vs. Worship the beast
All whose names have not been written in the book of life will worship the beast and persecute the people of the Lord. Though relatives and close friends are plotting to murder me, I pray watchfully and earnestly. Cast my cares on God for God will save me.
