Key Verses Exodus 14:13-14 / Jeremiah 17:7-8
Exodus
14 / Jeremiah 17
Raise the staff, and Rest
1
. Raise the staff to divide the sea
The
troop is pursuing at the back and there is the Red sea in the front.
Just be still and trust in God. Raise staff to the sea and command it by
faith, the water will be divided so that the people go on dry ground.
2. Trust in God and rest
Cursed
is the one who trusts in man for his strength and whose heart turns away from
God in the days of anger. Blessed
is he who carries no load but prays to God for healing, and rest in God.
Psalm
64 / Revelation 13:17
Cry out vs. The evil plans
The
evil plans of the wicked are to shoot God's people from ambush and block up
their way out. They cry out and
trust in God. Suddenly God acts,
and the enemy is shamed and defeated, the righteous rejoices.
