Exodus 16 / Jeremiah 19             Manna, and Clay jar

1.   Eat manna

Each morning we should eat manna.  One is to gather it according to one’s need and obey it on that day.  If you keep it until the next day, it will have maggots and smell.  Be careful to keep the Sabbath and completely obey God’s commands.

2.   Break the clay jar

God’s people do not listen to the word of the Lord but forsake the true God.  They offer and bum incense to other gods which is not God’s command or His desire.  Therefore, they will have disasters and be smashed as a clay jar.

Those who hold firmly to the name of the Lord during the refinement have the name of the Lord and the name of Father on their foreheads.  They have their foundations on the rock.  God does great things for them, so that they cross the river and take possession of the land.
