Exodus 23 / Jeremiah 26            3 paragraphs 11 vs. 8

Those who listen carefully and preach at the risk of their lives will rest and take possession of the land.

Psalm 73 / Revelation 14:8

Those who are unfaithful will fall; blessed to all who are pure in heart and love God wholeheartedly.

Key Verses     Exodus 23:20-21 / Jeremiah 26:2

Exodus 23 / Jeremiah 26              Follow the wrong vs. Shun evil

1.   Do not follow the wrong

Do not follow the crowd to do wrong.  Nor bow down or serve other gods.  Do not follow the practices of the Gentile.  God will bless us so that we will take possession of the land increasingly.

2.   Give warning at the risk of one's life

Proclaim God's instructions and His warning without omitting a word.  Though men persecute you, God can deliver you.  He who fears and flees by himself has disaster.

Psalm 73 / Revelation 14:8         A pure heart, and Adultery

There is nothing in heaven and earth that I desire besides the Lord.  Blessed are those who are pure in heart.  They work with the Lord and will be taken into glory.  Fallen!  Fallen is he who commits adultery.
