If a person obeys the word of the Lord, he will be full of God's glory; whoever rebels will be taken captive.

He who has a mind with wisdom will obey God and work; lest he be overtaken by wrath for idling away his life.

Exodus 40 / Jeremiah 43              Glory vs. Flame of wrath

1.   Full of glory

The tabernacle is set up and the priests minister in holiness.  They have finished all the works according to the word of  the Lord.  Then the tabernacle is filled with the glory of God.  The cloud and the fire lead their way.

2.   Bum down with wrath

When God’s children disobey the word of the Lord and insist on their own way, God will stir up enemy to attack them.  God will demolish the sacred pillars they depend on and God's wrath will bum down their idols.

 

Psalm 90 / Revelation 15:5           Wisdom, and The ark

The ark, the word of the Lord, will be the judgment in the last day.  Let’s number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom.  Do not idle but walk according to the word of the Lord and accomplish His work, lest we should be judged.
