Key Verses     Leviticus 4:11-12 / Jeremiah 47:6-7

Leviticus 4 / Jeremiah 47              By blood vs. By self

1.   Atone by blood

If a worker, the whole community, a leader or a member of the community sins unintentionally, he makes atonement by blood and cleanses himself completely, will be forgiven.

2.   Struggle by self

God will stir up sword to attack whomever is not willing to repent to make atonement by blood.  It will be useless to cut oneself or struggle by oneself or mourn when the disaster is coming.

Psalm 94 / Revelation 16:1         Avenge, and Pour out

When God comes to avenge, He pours out His bowls of wrath on the wicked so that they are paid back for their wickedness.  However, God will support and console those whom are disciplined by His law.
